Capstone Project: Brand Identity Development
SUMMARY

This is accredited to the 2019 Brand and Identity class at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. The project is a contribution to the nonprofit organization Cincinnati Golden Gloves, who let us use their brand to potentially develop a new identity for them as a class assignment. This is a showcase of my process development of the materials that I did during the course.

CGG is a non-profit Boxing program that changes the lives of young children in the Cincinnati Community. Their mission is to create a space where kids can come and train after school and be in a safe environment. CGG takes pride in teaching the youth the values of strength, education, discipline, self-respect, confidence, and health in life.

Using some of the core values of the brand from the ideas of the boxing glove, mentorship, and simply a monogram of the brand to create different logo approaches. A new wordmark was also created for cohesion with the logo mark.

Brand's touchpoint: Folded Book Design

Created the folded book as a brand touchpoint that can be given out during their events and meets. Doing so would help CGG to market itself and raise more awareness.

The folded book showcases CGG’s information about their programs and who they are. Once the book unfolds, a poster design is displayed on the back, carrying an inspiring quote that was displayed inside CGG's gym.

CGG Hand wraps Mockup

Created mockup of wearables with the new CGG logomark on it, could be giveaways at events or be the
brand's merchandise. (This project emphasizes the technical skill of creating mockups that could sell an idea).
